CAN CBD HELP WITH ANXIETY?

Although scientific research is limited, anecdotal evidence abounds for a correlation between CBD and decreased anxiety. In simple terms, some anxiety suffers have reported reduced anxiety and better sleep after taking high quality CBD. Recent studies by Harvard Research show that CBD may have a calming effect in the central nervous system. The exact method by which CBD reduces anxiety is not well understood, however, researchers theorize that the way that CBD binds to serotonin receptors may cause calming, mood lifting effects.

CBD MAY HELP YOU FALL ASLEEP EASIER AND SLEEP MORE SOUNDLY
According to Harvard Medical School, studies suggest that CBD may help with both falling asleep and staying asleep. Although CBD has not been approved by the FDA and is subject to further research, it is commonly used for patients who suffer through the misery of insomnia and as an alternative to prescription drugs such as Xanax, to address anxiety and depression. Here are 3 things to consider before trying CBD for anxiety:

1) CBD may react with other drugs so you should always consult your physician before starting this or any other supplement and NEVER stop taking depression and/or anti-anxiety drugs without your doctor's advice and approval.

2) Although CBD users have reported relief from pain, inflammation, anxiety and many other conditions, it has not been approved by the FDA and research is insufficient to declare CBD a treatment or cure for any ailment or condition.

3) Last, but not least, not all CBD is created equal so be sure you know what's in the CBD before you buy. Don't be fooled by false claims and big bottles. Ask for third party lab reports to be sure you are getting the CBD you need without the harmful additives you can do without!
